Live Dogs for UFC on FOX 16

Paul-SassUFC on FOX 16 Date: July 25, 2015 Arena: United Center City: Chicago, IL The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Chicago this Saturday night (July 25, 2015) for UFC on FOX 16: Dillashaw vs Barao. The fight card is stacked with 12 scraps, with the main card kicking off at 8pm ET on FOX and preliminary action getting going on the same channel at 6pm ET with four preliminary bouts streaming live on UFC Fight Pass priot to that at 4:15pm ET. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are my live dogs for UFC on FOX 16: Lightweight bout: Danny Castillo (+115) vs Jim Miller (-135) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think this is a very close match-up but personally I think Castillo should be a slight -130 favorite, so at these odds, I like “Last Call” for a play. I think he wants this win more than Miller and will find a way to pull it out. I expect it to be a closely contested contest that he edges out on the judges’ scorecards, though a knockout would not surprise me, either, considering the one-punch knockout power he displayed against Charlie Brenneman not too long ago. I could see Castillo outwrestling Miller in this contest and avoiding his submission attempts. This is a “do or die” type of fight for both lightweights who are on two fight losing skids. I expect Castillo to have the edge in cardio here, considering he is always in shape and had a full training camp, while Miller is taking this fight on short notice. Gabe’s Call: Castillo by Split Decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Castillo (+115) 3u to win 3.45u Welterweight bout: Ben Saunders (-105) vs Kenny Robertson (-115) Gabe’s Thoughts: Robertson is a solid wrestler and submission grappler but I think Saunders’ grappling is on another level. Whether in top position or on his back, I think Saunders will be in control of the action. I give him the advantage on the feet, as well. I think Saunders is the superior mixed martial artist heading into this 170-pound scrap and see value in him at his current betting price of -105, considering I think he should be a -180 favorite. Gabe’s Call: Saunders by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Saunders (-105) 4.2u to win 4u
