RFA 27’s Czar Sklavos: ‘I’m gonna try to do what I always do, finish with a choke’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with RFA 27 flyweight Czar Sklavos as he prepares for his upcoming co-main event bout tonight (Friday, July 3, 2015) against Nicholas Burgos at the Century Link Arena in Boise, Idaho.

The native Idahoan is a bit of a late bloomer at 33 years old, but he’s confident he can pick up a high profile win tonight against a tough opponent:

“I really know hardly anything about [Nicholas Burgos]. I haven’t seen any video. I’ve seen a little thing he put up on YouTube where he said he’s mostly a stand-up fighter, a kickboxer. I imagine he’s pretty good on the ground because he’s coming from Jeremy Horn’s school so he should know some basic stuff because he’s been fighting for a while. He’s not gonna be an easy fight. He’s on a six-fight win streak. The guy’s 9-3. We have fought some of the same opponents. I think overall, I’m the better fighter just all around. I’m gonna try to do what I always do, though, get it to the ground and finish with a choke. There’s no question when you put a guy to sleep.”
