Your Best Bets for UFC 186’s ‘Fight of the Night’

randa-markosUFC 186 Date: April 25, 2015 Arena: Bell Centre City: Montreal, Quebec, Canada The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Montreal, Quebec, Canada tonight with UFC 186: Johnson vs Horiguchi. The main card will get underway at 10pm ET on Pay Per View, with preliminary action preceding it at 8pm ET on Fox Sports 1 and 6:30pm on UFC Fight Pass prior to that. After the event concludes, the promotion will be awarding $50,000 checks to two fighters for ‘Fight of the Night’ honors. If interested in wagering on these props or any other plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. The ‘Fight of the Night’ plays that hold the most value are: Davis/Kaufman +900 – This is the third time these female bantamweights will be squaring off, with Kaufman being the victor in their two previous meetings. The first time out, she defeated Davis via late TKO stoppage and in the rematch, she took home the win on the judges’ scorecards. The second fight stole the show on the Strikeforce card it was on, and I think there’s a good chance of the same thing happening this evening in Montreal. At +900, I think there is a world of value in this prop. Should they take home the ‘Fight of the Night’ honors, it would be the first time for both women. Markos/Daly +1500- These women’s strawweights will be getting the action going for the UFC 186 fight card, as they are the first bout on the prelims. I believe this is a fight that would have made sense on the main card, so it is a bit strange to see it all the way on the bottom of the preliminary cards. These two are, in my opinion, amongst the best women’s 155-pounders in the world, and it would have been a good idea to showcase them on the televised prelims, rather than the Fight Pass card. But maybe the UFC just wants a fight they feel confident will get the night rolling on a high note, and if that’s the case, then they’ve made the right call. In Montreal, the arena will be packed by the time this bout kicks off, so it would not make a difference for them in that sense. I think these ladies are going to produce a very fun fight tonight, and at +1500, I think there is a whole lot of value here. Should they take home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus, it would be the second time for Markos in as many fights, while being the first for Daly.
