In part one of this special two-part interview series, Aguilar goes into detail on exactly how she wants this fight to take place and what her confidence level is at against one of the best strawweights on the planet:
“I’m very confident in my game and my jiu-jitsu for every fight. I prepare to be ready for everything. I don’t care if we go to the ground. I don’t care if we stay standing. I don’t care if we wrestle, even if we start flying (laughs). I’m training for everything. I really want to submit her. I want to finish on the ground. But if it goes to submission or a ref stoppage, maybe the Jag power will come out and I’ll get my first knockout, I want a finish.”
