Legacy FC 42’s Josh Quayhagen: ‘I can fight with world class strikers and I can beat them’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Legacy FC 42 lightweight Josh Quayhagen as he prepares for his upcoming main event tonight (June 26, 2015) against Anthony Njokuani at the Golden Nugget Casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

The talented former Bellator standout is looking to right the ship after suffering two straight losses and he’d love nothing more than to leave it all out there against Anthony Njokuani later tonight:

“I don’t know how it would feel to lose to Njokuani, but I want to make sure I can’t look back and say, ‘Hey, I made that mistake, I made this mistake.’ I want to fight. I want to go to war with Njokuani. I want to test myself and I want to enjoy it. When I look back at some of the fights I lost before, I can pinpoint little mistakes I made in preparation that I regretted. I’d like to get in there and fight and just enjoy it and do what I’m capable of. If I did that and I lost, this would be easier to take. Njokuani is a great fighter, a world class striker and I plan to test it. We’re gonna strike. I’m ready to be tested. I want to get in there and be satisfied more than win or lose, but I think I can fight with world class strikers and that I can beat them.”
