UFC 187’s Travis Browne: ‘Andrei Arlovski is still a very dangerous individual’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 187 heavyweight Daniel Cormier as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout this Saturday night (May 23, 2015) against Andrei Arlovski at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The talented heavyweight understands that he has a relationship with Arlovski, but that won’t stop him from going 100 percent against the former UFC Heavyweight Champion:

“I would say the sport has jumped leaps and bounds since [Andrei Arlovski] was champion. The athletes that are involved nowadays are different than back then. You can’t deny that. Andrei is still a very dangerous individual. He was my training partner for three years over at Jackson’s and him and I would go at it. I wouldn’t necessarily call him an old broken down man. He’s definitely got some juice left in there. I’ve been everywhere with him. I’ve cornered him, I’ve trained with him, his fight against Anthony Johnson made me a believer in him. In that fight he broke his jaw in the first round and he fought the rest of the rounds with a broken jaw. I picked up his tooth off the mat that fell out when I was in his corner. I know he’s coming back from being off the radar but he’s a warrior through and through.”
