The former MFC champion brought home the bacon in his last fight with a huge 50k “Performance of the Night” bonus after knocking out Cezar Mutante, and he’s hoping history can repeat itself this weekend:
“All I can guarantee is I’m fighting for ‘Fight of the Night.’ I know [Dan Kelly’s] a grappler. I know he’s going to try to grapple me one way or another and sometimes it’s harder to get a finish on somebody who only wants to try and throw you around. But I’ve been preparing for it. I’ve been working with some judo studs like Sokoudjou and his instructor as well… I got a performance bonus last time and they’re addicting. Every fight I’m having is for a bonus.”
