UFC Fight Night 63’s Al Iaquinta: ‘Jorge Masvidal has underrated wrestling’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 63 lightweight Al Iaquinta about his upcoming main card bout on Saturday  (April 4, 2015) against Jorge Masvidal at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia.

The talented former Ultimate Fighter season 15 finalist has been putting in the time to prepare for all of Jorge Masvidal’s skills, and he doesn’t expect to be surprised by anything come fight time:

“Me and Ray [Longo], we’re doing the same stuff we always do, we’re just progressing at a steady pace. The same thing over at Serra’s with my jiu-jitsu. I added a bit more with my wrestling. I think Jorge [Masvidal] has an underrated wrestling game. That’ll be something at some point we’ll be working in the fight. I’ve been working a lot more defense than anything, but it’s been business as usual, getting better as a mixed martial artist all over.”
