Five Crazy UFC Fight Night 62 Prop Bets That Cashed Big

fredy-serrano-blogFive crazy prop bets is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here’s five crazy UFC Fight Night 62 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers. Leonardo Santos wins in round 2 (+1000) In one of the few upsets on the night, Leonardo Santos was able to come back after a tough first round against Tony Martin to win in the second round with a submission victory. Santos needed a stoppage badly to prove his worth in the crowded UFC lightweight division and finishing a guy like Martin is no joke. The prop on Santos wins in round 2 cashed at a nice +1000. Gilbert Burns wins in round 3 (+700) In a lightweight fight, Gilbert Burns was able to overcome a tough first two rounds against Alex Oliveira to storm back in the third and win via submission. Burns had a much tougher time than expected in this one but ultimately he won by the method most thought he would. The prop on Burns in round 3 cashed at +700. Godofredo Pepey wins by submission (+585)/Pepey wins in round 1 (+775) Is there any more improved fighter in the featherweight division than Godofredo Pepey? The TUF Brazil 1 alum has won three fights in a row with a first-round submission win over Andrei Fili at UFC Fight Night 62 being his biggest W to date. The prop on Pepey winning by submission hit at +585 and the prop on him winning in round 1 hit at +775 for those who believed in the Brazilian. Leandro Silva wins by submission (+405)/Silva wins in round 2 (+750) A lightweight fight between Leandro Silva and Drew Dober was stopped prematurely in the second round as the referee for no reason called a halt to the action, indicating Dober had tapped to a Silva guillotine. This was obviously false, but regardless Silva by submission cashed at +405 and Silva wins in round 2 hit at +750. Fredy Serrano wins via T/KO (+440)/Serrano wins in round 3 (+1375) In the opening fight of the Fight Pass prelims, Fredy Serrano knocked out Bentley Syler in the third round with a brutal uppercut. This fight looked like it was headed nowhere until Serrano pulled a rabbit out of his hat and landed the highlight-reel submission. The prop on the Colombian to win by T/KO hit at +440 and in round 3 at +750.
