Titan FC 33’s Kurt Holobaugh: ‘Giving me space won’t be good for Des Green’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Titan FC 33 featherweight Kurt Holobaugh about his upcoming main event title fight this Friday night (March 20, 2015) against Des Green at the Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, Alabama.

The former Strikeforce and UFC competitor feels he’s well-prepared for what Green has to offer, and there’s a high likelihood he’ll be walking away from the event as the new champion as long as he’s able to impose his will:

“He’s probably gonna try to eat punches to get into me close and maybe just hold me against the cage. That’s where he wants to be. He wants to be as close to me as possible. Giving me space to roam around the cage won’t be good for him… I always work a lot of dirty boxing because you see a lot of fights where they’re clinching against the fence and you need to have that dirty boxing. My style vs Des Green’s style is gonna be pretty good.”
