Preliminary Card Parlay for UFC Fight Night 62 in Brazil

UFC on FOX Sports 1: Trinaldo v HallmannUFC Fight Night 62 Date: 03/21/15 Arena: Maracanazinho Gymnasium City: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this Saturday night (Mar. 21st, 2015) with UFC Fight Night 62. The event will feature a 12-fight card that is to be headlined by a five-round welterweight tilt between the Brazilian Demian Maia and New York native Ryan LaFlare. Main card action gets underway on FOX Sports 1 at 10pm, with preliminary action preceding it on Fox Sports 2 at 8pm and a pair of bouts coming before that on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm ET. If interested in making this parlay, or any other wagers for this UFC fight card, you will be able to do so at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my preliminary card parlay for UFC Fight Night 62: Lightweight bout: Akbarh Arreola (+165) vs Francisco Trinaldo (-205) Gabe’s Thoughts: Simply put, I think Trinaldo is the more well-rounded, superior fighter heading into this 155-pound scrap, and he has the advantage in power to go with it, too. If it hits the judges’ scorecards, he has the hometown edge, should the fight be close. I see him hurting Arreola with some shots on the feet, taking the fight to the mat and using effective ground and pound en route to securing a rear naked choke to earn the tab for a submission victory and his second win in a row. Gabe’s Call: Trinaldo by Submission (rear naked choke, 3:24 round 2) Lightweight bout: Christos Giagos (-215) vs Jorge De Oliveira (+170) Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe Giagos is the superior mixed martial artist going into this fight and expect him to get the better of the Brazilian everywhere, eventually either submitting him or putting him away with strikes. I think he is the more dangerous fighter on the feet, and on the mat. After coming short in his Octagon debut against Gilbert Burns, Giagos returns to Brazil for his second outing, except this time I think he will walk away the victor, likely earning said victory in impressive, highlight-reel fashion. The Brazilian also came up short in his UFC debut, losing a unanimous decision to Dhiego Lima. At 35 years of age, it’s unlikely he has made drastic improvements in his skill-set in the four months since that bout. Not only is his opponent Giagos the better fighter, but he is 10 years younger and continues to improve from fight to fight. Gabe’s Call: Giagos by T/KO (strikes, 4:11 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Trinaldo (-205) with Giagos (-215) at +117 for 2.55u to win 3u
