Live Dogs for UFC Fight Night 66 in the Philippines

Mark MunozUFC Fight Night 66 Date: May 16, 2015 Arena: SM Mall of Asia City: Pasay, Philippines The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to make it’s inaugral trip to the Philippines on Saturday (May 16) with UFC Fight Night 66: Edgar vs Faber. The event will feature an entirety of 12 bouts, including a six fight main card that will be live on FOX Sports 1 at 10am ET, with preliminary action preciding it at 8am ET on the same channel, and a pair of scraps at 7am ET on UFC Fight Pass prior to that. If interested in wagering on this parlay, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are my live dogs for UFC Fight Night 66 in the Philippines: Middleweight bout: Luke Barnatt (-160) vs Mark Munoz (+140) Fight Prediction: In short, I feel like Munoz is going to find the takedowns and ground-and-pound his way towards a farewell victory. Gabe’s Call: Munoz by T/KO (Donkey Kong punches!, 3:16 round 3) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Munoz (+140) 2.5u to win 3.5u Welterweight bout: Hyun Gyu Lim (+110) vs Neil Magny (-130) Fight Prediction: I think there is a decent chance Magny’s six-fight winning streak comes to an end in the Philippines when he squares off against Lim. The Korean is the most dangerous opponent Magny has faced since Tim Means, who he defeated. I think Means had an off night, but I’m not discrediting Magny. I think he has a fairly good chance of winning this bout, I jut don’t agree with the current betting odds. I think Lim should be a -180 betting favorite, so at his current underdog tag of +110, I have to favor him for a wager. I think he could get this done by T/KO or on the judges’ scorecards. Gabe’s Call: Lim by T/KO (knees, 1:36 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Lim (+110) 2.5u to win 2.75u Bantamweight bout: Ning Guangyou (-135) vs Royston Wee (+115) Fight Prediction: This is more of a gut play than anything else. I feel like Wee is going to manage to grind out another win, and dare I say, possibly earn his first finish inside the Octagon. He has a couple of fights under his belt now, so if and when this fight hits the mat, I could see him threatening with submissions. That said, it’s more likely he opts to take the route of blanketing Guangyou to get the win on the scorecards. As long as he avoids getting knocked out, again, I think he manages to pull out another win. I’m not confident, but I think he should be a slight favorite here, so I like him for a play at his current dog price. Gabe’s Call: Wee by Split Decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Wee (+115) 1.35u to win 1.55u
