UFC 184’s James Krause: ‘Valmir Lazaro fought a bunch of nobodies in Brazil’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 184 lightweight James Krause about his upcoming preliminary card bout this Saturday night (February 28, 2015) against Valmir Lazaro at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The talented veteran knows he’s faced significantly stiffer competition throughout his career than Lazaro has, and he feels it will be a huge advantage for him come fight time:

“Let’s take a solid look at who [Valmir Lazaro] has knocked out. Name one person. You can’t. They’re a bunch of nobodies. He fought a bunch of nobodies in Brazil. And that’s not a shot on him, that’s just a fact. He’s knocking out a bunch of turds. I can go hit a punching bag every day if I have to. The fact is that he’s never fought anyone like me. That’s not me taking a shot at him, that’s just a fact. He’s never fought anyone with the experience I bring to the table. I don’t think he’s fought anyone near as well-rounded as me and that’s something he’s gonna have to deal with.”
