MMAOddsBreaker.com’s Knockout of the Month for July 2017 goes to UFC welterweight Alex “Cowboy†Oliveira at UFC on FOX 25 on July 22nd.
It was a sour first round for Oliveira, who was out-wrestled for the majority of the opening round of action against Long Island’s Ryan LaFlare. The Brazilian came out strong in the second round, stuffing LaFlare’s takedown attempts and piecing him up on the feet until ultimately landing a perfectly timed lead uppercut to knock the Long Islander out cold. It was yet another very impressive victory for Oliveira, who continues to perform well inside the Octagon. Another highlight added to his reel, and it is well deserving of MMAOddsBreaker’s “Knockout of the Month” for July. Congratulations, Alex Oliveira!
