MacDonald made his long-awaited Bellator debut in the main event for UFC 179, where he took on fellow UFC veteran Paul Daley and dominated him from start to finish, using his superior grappling. “Red King†took Daley’s back in the second round and sunk in a rear-naked choke to earn the tap and bounce back into the win column following a pair of defeats on his way out of the UFC’s door. It was a picture-perfect Bellator debut for the Canadian, and fight fans look forward to his next outing. Congratulations, Rory MacDonald!
