Nick Kalikas’ History
Nick Kalikas has been involved in Martial Arts for the majority of his life. A former head instructor at Kalikas TKD in Canton, Ohio, he holds the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do & American Freestyle Karate. Kalikas was also selected as a member of the PKC United States Karate Team from 1994-2000.
In 2003 Kalikas began covering the sport of MMA as a host of PKW Live, a weekly MMA Radio show that focused primarily on Martial Arts & MMA. Kalikas’ vast knowledge of MMA along with his solid connections in the Martial Arts community became a valuable asset.
The sports betting industry took note, and shortly after Kalikas was approached about handicapping MMA fights. In 2004, Kalikas turned his focus solely on the gambling aspect of MMA and started creating betting lines. Today, Kalikas’ MMA lines are used by the majority of the world’s top sportsbooks, including Las Vegas, Offshore & Europe.
