I think the first round of this bout is a toss-up, but I favor De La Torre to pick up the second and third for a unanimous-decision victory, should this bout find it’s way to the judges’ scorecards for a decision. I see him taking Franco down and controlling him on the mat en route to a unanimous-decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I can see him winning this fight inside the distance, but I think he is more likely to take it on the scorecards. Even considering it is his Octagon debut, I think Gillespie should be a -190 betting favorite heading into this contest, so I see value in him at his current underdog price of +110.
