With UFC on FOX 7 in the books, MMA Oddsbreaker’s Fighter Rankings are due for an update. While the biggest fights heading into the card were the Lightweight Title bout between Benson Henderson and Gilbert Melendez, and the Heavyweight tilt with Daniel Cormier and Frank Mir, the biggest impact on the rankings came from another bout. With Josh Thomson knocking out Nate Diaz in the second round of their Lightweight fight, Thomson moves all the way up from #10 in the Lightweight rankings to #5.
