Two-Way Parlay for UFC on FOX 21

Sam-Alvey-752x440UFC on FOX 21: Maia vs Condit Date: August 27, 2016 Arena: Rogers Arena City: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Vancouver with UFC on FOX 21: Maia vs Condit. The main card will be kicking off on FOX at 8pm ET, with preliminary action preceding it on the same channel at 6pm ET and UFC Fight Pass at 4pm ET priot to that. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Featherweight bout: Anthony “Showtime” Pettis (-200) vs Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira (+170) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Pettis has a big striking advantage in this contest and I ultimately see that as being the difference. I don’t think Oliveira will find much success taking this fight to the mat and outgrappling Pettis, so I see it playing out on the feet, where it is Pettis’ world, therefore making this his fight to lose. I think Oliveira is a great test for him at 145-pounds but I think it is one he could pass with flying colors, and I expect him to do so on Saturday night. Gabe’s Call: Pettis by T/KO (body-kick, 1:31 round 1) Middleweight bout: Sam Alvey (-225) vs Kevin Casey (+185) Gabe’s Thoughts: This middleweight contest comes down to how Casey decides to fight. If he is careful, I think he is going to end up losing a decision on the judges’ scorecards, and if he is aggressive, I think he is going to get knocked out by a vicious Alvey counter. Either way, I think this is Alvey’s fight to lose and believe he should be a -350 betting favorite heading in, so I see value in him at his current offering price of -225. Gabe’s Call: Alvey by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Pettis (-200) and Alvey (-225) at +116 for 3.35u to win 3.9u
