Five Props that Cashed Big at UFC on FOX 20

Felice-Herrig-coverFive Props is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here’s five UFC on FOX 20 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakerss. 1) Valentina Shevchenko by Decision (+450) Valentina Shevchenko pulled off the upset by defeating former UFC women’s bantamweight champion via unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards. She got the better of Holm on the feet and on the mat for the majority of five rounds in the main event of the evening to earn the unanimous nod from the judges at Octagon-side. Those who wagered on her to win this bout on the cards cashed out at a cool +450, so congratulations are in order. 2) Felice Herrig by Submission (+550) Felice Herrig made quick work of Kailin Curran, defeating her via rear naked choke submission in less than two minutes into the very first round of action. It was an impressive return to action for Herrig in her hometown, and a picture-perfect way for her to return to the win column following an extended layoff. If you wagered on her to beat the Hawaiian via submission, you took home a very nice +550 winning ticket, so congrats! 3) Eddie Wineland by T/KO (+535) Eddie Wineland turned back the clock by outstriking Frankie Saenz, dropping him a number of times and ultimately finishing him with a TKO in the third and final round of action. It was a great performance by Wineland, and as Joe Rogan said, arguably his best inside the Octagon. If you wagered on him to win this fight by T/KO, then you cashed out at a sweet +535, so way to go! 4) Jason Knight by Decision (+315) Jason Knight picked up his first UFC victory by defeating former Cage Warriors featherweight champion Jim Alers via split decision following three rounds of competitive action that saw him get the better of Alers on the feet. He looked impressive in victory and allowed those who backed him to win this fight on the judges’ scorecards to cash their +315 betting tickets. If you were on that one, then congratulations are due. 5) Luis Henrique by Submission (+535) Luis Henrique defeated promotional newcomer Dmitry Smoliakov via second round rear naked choke submission. The Russian was competitive in the first round but had badly faded by the start of the second, which was somewhat expected considering he had never been past the three minute mark in his professional mixed martial arts career, having made short work of all of his previous opponents. The Brazilan proved to be a level or two or three above the fighters Smoliakov had defeated on the regional circuit, as he took the Russian into some deep waters and finished him with a choke after some ground and pound. If you bet on Henrique to put his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to use and get the job done by submission, then congrats to you, as you cashed out at a sweet +535! A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $598,134.
