Here is my parlay: Welterweight bout: Paul Daley (-178) vs Douglas Lima (-205) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Lima has more weapons in his striking arsenal heading into this main event bout between two knockout artists. I believe the Brazilian has more ways to finish this fight and is also the more likely fighter to win the bout on points, should it hit the judges’ scorecards for a decision following three rounds of main event action. I think Lima should be a -360 betting favorite heading into this contest, so I think he holds value at his current offering price of -205. Gabe’s Call: Lima by T/KO (strikes, 4:29 round 2) Heavyweight bout: Matt Mitrione (-290) vs Oli Thompson (+245) Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe Mitrione is the superior mixed martial artist heading into this heavyweight contest and unless he gets caught by a lucky Thompson punch, I have really hard time seeing him lose this fight. I see Mitrione getting the better of the Brit on the feet and likely stopping him with strikes in the opening stanza. Mitrione will be the bigger man in the cage and have a big edge on the feet. I think he should be a -400 betting favorite heading into this contest, so I see value in him at his current offering price of -290. I would have said he deserves to be a higher favorite than that, had he not gotten clipped and dropped in his last outing. Kudos to him though, as he showed great recovery and scored the come from behind knockout.
