Fights to Avoid Betting for UFC Fight Night 90

UFC 147: Arantes v VieiraUFC Fight Night 90: dos Anjos vs Alvarez Date: July 7, 2016 Arena: MGM Grand Garden Arena City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in Las Vegas on Thursday, July 7th with UFC Fight Night 90: dos Anjos vs Alvarez. The 12-fight card airs entirely on UFC Fight Pass, with preliminary action kicking off 6:30pm ET, with main card action getting underway at 10pm ET. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. My Fights to AVOID betting are: Bantamweight bout: Felipe Arantes (-180) vs Jerrod Sanders (+140) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think the betting odds for this match-up are on the money, which means I see no value in either bantamweight in terms of a wager. They are both coming off extended layoffs and looking to make it two in a row in the UFC’s 135-pound division. I slightly favor Arantes to either edge this out on the judges’ scorecards or secure a submission along the way, but I could easily see Sanders grinding him out for a decision victory. Gabe’s Call: Arantes by Submission (head and arm choke, 1:34 round 2) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Bantamweight bout: Marco Beltran (+145) vs Reginaldo Vieira (-185) Gabe’s Thoughts: This is another bantamweight contest on this UFC Fight Fight 90 fight card in which I am in complete agreement with, thus seeing no betting value on either fighter and ultimately having to avoid the contest at the sportsbook come Thursday night. I think Viera should be able to get his hand raised, but there are currently too many question marks surrounding both fighters to get a solid read on this scrap. I favor Viera to win, but see no betting value in him and see this as a fight I want to keep my wallet away from, so I can sit back, enjoy and see how things play out. Gabe’s Call: Viera by Submission (guillotine choke, 4:40 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID
