MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Legacy FC 56 bantamweight Manny Vasquez as he prepares for his upcoming main event bout this Friday night (June 24, 2016) against Steven Peterson at the Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas.
The talented 22-year old has done his homework heading into this headlining attraction, and he feels it could have some serious UFC implications:
“[Steven Peterson]’s really tough. There’s not one set thing that I think stands out. He’s pretty well-rounded. He wins a lot of fights by just being tougher than the other guy, having a bigger heart and grinding it out to get the win. My last fight, it was real quick with a takedown and submission so I’m assuming he’ll be weary of that and go the opposite route and try to hit me… I see myself in the UFC. I could be called up at any time. I just have to keep winning and be ready for them to call me and be ready to go.”
