Anthony Joshua versus Dominic Breazeale – London Hosts Heavyweight Title Fight

Anthony-JoshuaEddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing are at London’s O2 Arena for a huge boxing card this Saturday, June 25th. The main event ssees IBF Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua defend his title against Dominic Breazeale in a battle of two 2012 Olympians. The rest of the card is excellent and several of the undercard fights are also already up at the sports books. Joshua is the feature here, make no mistake about it. The 2012 Olympic gold medalist is fighting in his hometown, and he is already the biggest draw in British boxing. Breazeale on the other hand has gone to 17-0 as a pro in relative anonymity in the United States. As a result, thebooks have Joshua a huge -4000 favorite, with Breazeale coming back at +2000. The over/under for the twelve round bout is 3 1/2 with the over paying +310 and the under at -400. Joshua is 16-0 with 16 KOs, but Breazeale has 15 KOs in his 17 pro fights. In Super Middleweight 12-round action, George Groves (23-3) and Martin Murray (33-3-1) lock horns with Groves´ WBA International title and British bragging rights on the line. Right now, this fight has the most competitve line of the evening, with Groves favored at -280 and Murray coming back at +240. The over/under is at 9 1/2 with the over paying -300 and the under at +220. Groves recently lost a world title shot against Badou Jack, and his other two losses are to Carl Froch, so he dearly needs a win in a high profile match if he is to truly impact the title picture down the line. At Middleweight, BBBofC British titleholder Chirs Eubank Jr (22-1) faces undefeated Tom Doran (17-0) in a match that sees eubank Jr a huge -2500 favorite. Doran is currently paying back at +1400. Eubank Jr has thrown his name in the hat to be the next opponent for middleweight kingpin Gennady Golovkin, and it is possible he is taking Doran lightly. Nevertheless, Eubank Jr has shown his talent and his confidence in the past. In challenging Golovkin, he is hoping to lure Triple “G” to England where his home field may nullify some of Golovkin’s psychologial advantages. Doran hopes that is exactly what Eubank Jr is thinking, as he would love to spoil the party for his rival this Saturday. Below are the rest of the lines for Matchroom Boxing´s Saturday fights. The above features will air on SKY Box Office pay-per-view in the United Kingdom and on Showtime in the United States. Check your local listings. Super Lightweight 12 rounds – Andrea Scarpa +365 John Wayne Hibbert -460 Heavyweight 6 rounds – Cyril Leonet +1200 Dillian Whyte -2250
