UFC implementing early weigh-in procedure for UFC Fight Night 89 After this method successfully went through at UFC 199, the UFC has once again implemented an early weigh-in option for the  fighters competing at UFC Ottawa. UFC PR man confirmed the news with MMA Fighting on Monday.  Prior to UFC 199, fighters has the opportunity to weigh-in from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the fighter hotel. Weigh-in’s will still take place at 5 p.m. ET where earlier weigh in results will be announced.   James Krause is off The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale, Ross Pearson seeks new opponent UFC lightweight James Krause has been forced to pull out of his July 8th matchup with Ross Pearson according to MMAJunkie.  Pearson (19-10) heads into this matchup off a split decision victory over TUF Nations winner Chad Laprise at UFC Fight Night 85. This matchup was slated to take place at The Ultimate Fighter 23 Final on July 8 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.
