WSOF 31’s John Howard discusses clinical autism diagnosis

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with World Series of Fighting welterweight John Howard as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout next Friday night (June 17, 2016) against Thiago Meller at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

The UFC veteran discovered a big revelation during some recent medical testing while preparing for his upcoming WSOF bout and it explains several things in his life:

“I was doing a neurological exam and certain things I was doing, they noted. They asked me about my schooling and I explained to them that my whole life in school I was special ed. Back in the day they didn’t have tests for autism, ADHD, so they just put me in the special classes. So come to find out, I’m clinically autistic. I didn’t need special ed, I just needed certain training and medicine to better myself.”
