MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 155 heavyweight Chase Gormley as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout this Friday night (May 20, 2016) against Joey Beltran at the CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho.
The UFC veteran is expecting Beltran to push a high pace and he’s hoping he can take care of business in a hurry:
“I think [Joey Beltran]’s gonna try to swarm me with punches and get me panicked and tired or he’s gonna get me to chase him and get me tired and try to catch me with a hook. He likes to do cage work. I still think I’m gonna knock him out in the first round. My hands are feeling good and if the hands aren’t going well, I can get the takedown. The fight’s not gonna be easy but I’ll try to take him out in the first.”
