UFC on Fox 31 Closing Odds and Betting Results

UFC on Fox 31 took place Saturday, December 15, 2018 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The card was headlined by a lightweight bout between Al Iaquinta and Kevin Lee.

Favorites that Won

Rob Font’s jab was working all night as he easily won a decision over former flyweight contender Sergio Pettis. Font closed -166. Pettis closed +136.

Charles Oliveira scored an early takedown and secured yet another submission on the mat to get the victory over longtime UFC veteran Jim Miller in the opening round. Oliveira closed -310 while Miller closed +250.

Despite being out landed in all three round, Drakkar Klose walked away with a decision victory over Bobby Green. Klose closed -245 with the return on Green +195.

Jack Hermansson out landed Gerald Meerschaert by a wide margin and eventually latched in a rear naked submission to win by first round submission. Hermansson closed -162 while Meerschaert closed +132.

In a close fight, Zak Cummings did a bit more in the final two rounds to beat Trevor Smith 29-28 across the scorecards. Cummings closed -311. Smith closed +251.

Dan Ige took two out of three rounds to edge a decision over debutant Jordan Griffin. Ige closed -172 with the return on Griffin +142.

Juan Adams cut Chris de la Roche early in this bout, but it wasn’t until round three when he was able to slow de la Roche down and force the referee to stop the fight. Adams closed -495 while de la Rocha closed +370.

Underdogs that Won

In a physical back and forth fight, Al Iaquinita passed the endurance test as he turned up the volume in the final round to win a decision over Kevin Lee. Iaquinta closed +280. Lee closed -360.

Edson Barboza dominated the striking exchanges battering Dan Hooker until he was able to finish Hooker with a body shot in the third round. Barboza closed -105 with Hooker closing -125.

Zak Ottow may have only landed fourteen punches, but the judges believed he did enough to eek out a split decision victory over newcomer Dwight Grant. Ottow closed +232. Grant closed -292.

Down on the scorecards, Joaquim Silva came hope huge in the third-round finishing Jared Gordon to get the win in one of the best fights of the night. Silva closed -105 while Gordon closed -125.

Mike Rodriguez completely outclassed Adam Milstead in the striking game and landed a huge knee to the body that dropped Milstead to the mat and gave Rodriguez the victory. Rodriguez closed -114 with the return on Milstead -116.
