Prop Plays for UFC Fight Night 87

Stefan StruveUFC Fight Night 87 Date: May 8, 2016 Arena: Ahoy Rotterdam City: Rotterdam, Netherlands The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads to The Netherlands for the first time in promotional history with UFC Fight Night 87: Overeem vs Arlovski. The 12-fight card will kick off on UFC Fight Pass at 10am ET with prelminary action, which will continue on FOX Sports 1 at noon ET, and the main card will get underway on the same channel at 2pm ET. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are my prop plays: Alistair Overeem (-235) vs Andrei Arlovski (+195) Overeem by Unanimous Decision (+850) 1u to win 8.5u If this was a three round fight, I would like this play a lot more and would double down on it. I think the +850 betting line for the prop still holds a good amount of value in a five rounder, as I think there is a decent chance that this will be a technical striking battle between the two training partners and I could easily see it hitting the judges’ scorecards for a decision. Unless they come out guns blazing in the first round, I think there’s a good chance this fight reaches the “championship rounds” and then potentially the judges’ scorecards. Antonio Silva (+180) vs Stefan Struve (-220) Struve in Round One (+160) 2u to win 3.2u Struve by T/KO (+140) 2u to win 2.8u Simply put, I expect Struve to record a highlight reel finish and make quick work of Silva, potentially sending him into retirement. Francimar Barroso (+180) vs Nikita Krylov (-220) Barroso Inside the Distance (+475) 1u to win 4.75u Barroso in Round Two (+1200) .5u to win 6u Barroso in Round Three (+2000) .5u to win 10u. I favor Barroso to win this fight on the judges’ scorecards but I think there is a very good chance he finishes Krylov, considering the Ukranian’s wildness during exchanges, lack of fight IQ, defense and cardio past the first stanza. Heather Jo Clark (+225) vs Carolina Kowalkiewicz (-265) Kowalkiewicz by Decision (-115) 1.15u to win 1u In short, I think this is the most likely outcome to this women’s 115-pound contest. Garreth McLellan (+250) vs Magnus Cedenblad (-300) Cedenblad by Decision (+280) 2u to win 5.6u Contrary to popular opinion, I think Cedenblad winning by decision is the most likely outcome to this 185-pound affair. He is a -300 bettin favorite straight up and is -115 to win inside the distance, which suggests a finish is more likely than a decision. I think there’s a good chance he finishes McLellan, but I think his chances of winning the fight on the judges’ scorecards are greater, so at the current offering price of +280, I see a lot of value in the prop. McLellan is tough and I think there’s a good chance he survives till the final bell, likely wih Cedenblad spending the majority of 15-minutes of action in top position on the canvas. Ulka Sasaki (+125) vs Willie Gates (-135) Sasaki in Round One (+425) 2u to win 8.5u Putting it simply, I think Sasaki winning by first round submission is the most likely outcome to this 125-pound scrap and I think the prop holds great value at the current offering price tag of +425.
