MMA Odds and Ends for Friday: Evangelista Santos vs. Saad Awad set for Bellator 154, Dhiego Lima signs with Titan FC

Evangelista Santos vs. Saad Awad scheduled for Bellator 154 Per MMAFighting on Thursday, welterweights Evangelista Santos and Saad Awad have been added to next weeks Bellator 154 card. Santos (21-16) is coming off a huge upset victory over Brennan Ward where he forced the American to tap in 30-seconds. “Cyborg” has fought the likes of Melvin Manhoef, Mauricio Rua, Nick Diaz, Gegard Mousasi, Francis Carmont and Marius Zaromskis. He heads into this matchup on a two-fight winning streak. Awad (18-7) heads into this matchup off a loss to Patricky Freire last August. He’s moving up a weight class to compete at welterweight for this matchup. Bellator 154 takes place May 14 at the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. The ATT Atlanta product is coming off a decision victory over Jorge de Oliveira after losing two straight matchups via knockout in the UFC against Tim Means and Li Jingliang.   Titan FC 39 takes place June 10th at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fla.
