karolina_kowalkiewicz_poseUFC Fight Night 87 Date: May 7, 2016 Arena: Ahoy Rotterdam City: Rotterdam, Netherlands The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads to The Netherlands for the first time in promotional history with UFC Fight Night 87: Overeem vs Arlovski. The 12-fight card will kick off on UFC Fight Pass at 10am ET with prelminary action, which will continue on FOX Sports 1 at noon ET, and the main card will get underway on the same channel at 2pm ET. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Women’s Strawweight bout: Heather Jo Clark (+210) vs Karolina Kowalkiewicz (-250) Gabe’s Thoughts: Kowalkiewicz has been making noise in the UFC’s women’s 115-pound division with a unanimous decision win over Randa Markos and now she prepares to take on another TUF veteran in Clark. I believe Kowalkiewicz is the superior striker heading into this contest and I expect her to find success in keeping the fight on the feet, where I see her outstriking Clark for three rounds of action en route to picking up a unanimous decision win on the judges’ scorecards. I see her getting past Clark in this fight and remaining undefeated as a professional mixed martal artist. Gabe’s Call: Kowalkiewicz by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Lightweight bout: Jon Tuck (+180) vs Nick Hein (-220) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Hein is the superior fighter of the two, as well as the stronger fighter; both physically and mentally. I see the German fighter keeping this fight standing and outboxing Tuck for the majority of three rounds of action for a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I think Tuck’s best chance at getting his hand raised here is by caching Hein with a submission, like a guillotine or leg-lock, but I think the odds of that are slim. Though, if you are on Hein and feel like hedging, I think a stab on Tuck by Submission at +745 would be the way to go. Gabe’s Call: Hein by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 30-27, 20-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Kowalkiewicz (-250) and Hein (-220) at +103 for 2.75u to win 2.85u
