UFC flyweight Paddy Holohan announces retirement Surprising news broke Monday morning as UFC flyweight Paddy Holohan announced his retirement via Facebook. Holohan (12-2-1) cited a rare blood-clotting disorder (Factor XIII deficiency) has made it impossible for him to pass his medicals and be cleared for any upcoming fights. The 27-year old was signed to the UFC after an elimination-round loss on TUF 18. He’s coming off a submission loss to Louis Smolka at UFC Fight Night 76 in October.
