UFC 197’s Kevin Lee: ‘I’m not worried about Efrain Escudero’s wrestling’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 197 lightweight Kevin Lee as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card fight today (Saturday, April 23, 2016) against Efrain Escudero at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The talented Detroit-native is looking to bounce back from a tough loss and he’s not worried one bit about his opponent’s biggest strength heading into this upcoming UFC Fight Pass bout:

“I’m not too worried about [Escudero’s] wrestling. I think my wrestling base is a lot stronger. I think if I wanted to wrestle him and put him on his back for three rounds, I could do it. I’ve wrestled with Evan Dunham and Evan bullied him in the clinch. I think I’ve got a better base. More of this camp was working on not getting hit. I like to look forward. I wanted to get on that UFC 200 card, throw that bum that’s fighting Sage Northcutt out. I’m gonna push for that one and hopefully in November I’ll get my rematch against Al Iaquinta at Madison Square Garden.”
