If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Light Heavyweight bout: Glover Teixeira (-210) vs Rashad Evans (+190) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Teixeira is the superior mixed martial artist of the two at this point in their career, and as long as he does not get caught with a punch, I see him getting the better of Evans throughout the contest, likely finding a finish along the way. That said, should five round main event scrap hit the judges’ scorecards for a decision, I think the Brazilian will have done eough to earn the nod. I would not be surprised to see Rashad Evans retire following this contest, should he come out on the losing end. Gabe’s Call: Teixeira by T/KO (strikes, 2:42 round 1) Women’s Strawweight bout: Rose Namajunas (-220) vs Tecia Torres (+200) Gabe’s Thoughts: At first I thought I was going to make a value play on Torres, as I saw her as a live dog before really doing my homework on the contest. She clearly beat Namajunas in their first meeting and both ladies have greatly improved their all-around skill-sets since that contest. Rose, though, I think has improved more than Torres and I think she will be able to get the better of Torres in this match-up, for at least two out of three rounds en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. That said, I think she also has a decent chance of securing a submission, though I think a decision win is more likely. Gabe’s Call: Namajunas by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Teixeira (-210) and Namajunas (-220) at +114 for 1.75u to win 2u
