Highlights from Saturday’s WSOF 30 event    UFC welterweight Neil Magny signs new UFC contract MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani reported Friday that Neil Magny has opted not to test free agency, and has signed a new four-fight deal with the UFC. Magny (18-4) is currently ranked #7 in the UFC welterweight rankings and is coming off a huge win over Hector Lombard at UFC Fight Night 85. He started his UFC career off by losing two of his first three fights. From there he went on to win 10 of his last 11 bouts, with his only loss coming to Demain Maia at UFC 190.   UFC vets Thiago Silva, Paulo Thiago to compete in Akhmat MMA Grand Prix on April 9 BloodyElbow’s Karim Zidan reported this past weekend that UFC veterans Thiago Silva and Paulo Thiago will compete in the Akhmat Grand Prix this Friday. Akhmat will host a second set of tournament quarter-finals on Friday in the heavyweight, light-heavyweight, middleweight, and welterweight divisions. Here’s an updated look at the card.
