Renan Barao vs. Jeremy Stephens scheduled for a May 29th UFC Fight Night Renan Barao’s UFC featherweight debut will be against Jeremy Stephens according to an inital report from Combate and later confirmed by the UFC. Barao (33-3-1) has lost two of his last three fights with both of his setbacks coming to former UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw. There is no word on if this will be a permanent move for Barao, who was hospitalized prior to UFC 177 for weight cutting issues. Stephens (24-12) heads into this matchup off a loss to Max Holloway and is just 1-3 in his last four bouts. UFC Fight Night will take place May 29th. No exact location has been listed, but there are rumblings that the fight will be in Las Vegas. Gegard Mousasi expected to face Derek Brunson at UFC 200 FOX Sports’ Damon Martin is reporting that middleweight Gegard Mousasi is slated to face Derek Brunson July 9 in Las Vegas at UFC 200. Mousasi (38-6-2) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Thales Leites at UFC Fight Night 84 and has won three of his last four fights. Brunson (15-3) heads into the matchup on a four-fight winning streak, including a first round TKO victory over Roan Carnero at UFC Fight Night 83. UFC 200 takes place July 9 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Also confirmed for the card is a heavyweight matchup between Cain Velasquez vs. Travie Browne. Kevin Casey vs. Elvis Mutapcic set for UFC 199 UFC officials recently announced that middleweights Kevin Casey and Elvis Mutapcic will clash at UFC 199. Casey (9-4) heads into this matchup off a third round TKO loss to Rafael Natal at UFC on FOX 18. Mutapic (15-4) came up short in his UFC debut, losing a decision to Francimar Barroso at UFC Fight Night 81. UFC 199 takes place June 4 at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
