Preliminary Card Parlay for UFC Fight Night 85 in Australia

AlanPatrickUFC Fight Night 85 Date: March 20, 2016 Arena: Brisbane Entertainment Centre City: Brisbane, Australia The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Brisbane, Australia for the second time in promotional histry with UFC Fight Night 85: Hunt vs Mir. The action-packed card will feature 13 bouts in entirety, with the main card getting going at 10pm ET on FOX Sports 1 and preliminary action preceding it on the same channel at 8pm ET, with a trio of bouts before it on UFC Fight Pass at 6:30pm ET. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Welterweight bout: Richard Walsh (-110) vs Viscardi Andrade (-110) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Andrade is the superior mixed martial artist of the two heading into this welterweight contest and think he has the better all-around game. If this fight hits the judges’ scorecards for a decision, I like his chances of doing enough to win at least two out of three rounds on the judges’ scorecards. That said, I do like his chances of winning this fight inside the distance and think there is a decent chance he submits the Australian. Walsh looked promising until his last couple of bouts; he even failed to impress in his unanimous decision win over Steve Kennedy in his latest outing. Rather than improving, he appears to be on a decline, which makes me feel like this is Andrade’s fight to lose. I think the Brazilian should be a -170 betting favorite headed into this 170-pound match-up, so I like him for a leg in this two-way preliminary card parlay for UFC Fight Night 85 in Australia. Gabe’s Call: Andrade by Submission (triangle choke, 3:48 round 1) Lightweight bout: Alan Patrick (-280) vs Damien Brown (+200) Gabe’s Thoughts: Brown is making his promotional debut against Patrick in this short notice bout and I think he is completely outmatched here. I do think this is Patrick’s fight to lose and would be surprised to see the hometown underdog pull off the upset. Even at his juicy price of -280, I think there is enough value in Patrick to include him as a leg for this two-way preliminary card parlay for Saturday night. Gabe’s Call: Patrick by T/KO (strikes, 3:11 round 3) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Andrade (-110) and Patrick (-280) at +159 for 2.2u to win 3.5u
