Rafael Carvalho vs. Melvin Manhoef title fight headlines Bellator 155  Bellator announced Friday that newly crowned middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho will defend his title against Melvin Manhoef. Carvalho (12-1)  won the vacant middleweight title with a body kick TKO of Brandon Halsey at Bellator 144. Heading into this matchup he’s currently riding a 12-fight winning streak. Manhoef (30-12-1) is coming off a knockout victory over Hisaki Kato at Bellator 146. Bellator 155 takes place May 20 from CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho. Pettis (13-2) is coming off a unanimous-decision victory over former title challenger Chris Cariaso which pushed him to 3-1 in his last four fights. Kelades (9-2) is coming off a split decision victory over Chris Beal. UFC 197 takes place April 23 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Freire (15-7) is coming off a highlight reel knockout win against Ryan Couture. Campos (16-6) is coming off an impressive TKO victory over Melvin Guillard which pushed his record to 5-3 in his last eight fights. Bellator 152 will come from the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy.
