MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 83 welterweight Nathan Coy as he prepares for his preliminary card bout tonight (Sunday, February 21, 2016) against Jonavin Webb at the Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The Strikeforce, Bellator, MFC, Ultimate Fighter and UFC veteran has been there and done that, but he still thinks Webb brings plenty to the table that he’ll have to be extra cautious about come fight time:
“What I saw of [Jonavin Webb] is that he’s dangerous. He’s a go-getter and he’ll go right into things. You have to be real careful with him. I don’t think many fighters have ability to finish a fight but he can. He has bursts of energy and that takes a lot out of ya. It’s hard to keep that up, to have the right training to do that for three rounds. He’s young, so you never know the next time out, but MMA over the last 15 months has really changed.”
