Prop Plays for UFC Fight Night 82

Ovince St. Preux 2UFC Fight Night 82 Date: February 6, 2016 Arena: MGM Grand Garden Arena City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in Las Vegas for UFC Fight Night 82: Hendricks vs Thompson with 12-scheduled bouts. Main card action will get underway at 10pm ET on FOX Sports 1, with preliminary action preceding it on the same channel at 8pm ET and a pair of bouts on Fight Pass prior to that at 7pm ET. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are my prop plays: Jared Rosholt (+150) vs Roy Nelson (-160) Nelson by Decision (+850) 2u to win 17u I think “Big Country” has a good chance of picking up his first decision victory inside the Octagon with this match-up. As long as Rosholt avoids getting knocked out, I think this fight hits the judges’ scorecards for a decision, where I slightly favor Nelson to get the better of Rosholt over the course of three rounds. Rosholt may take the first round, and as fatigue sets in for both heavyweights, I think Nelson will find success in keeping the fight standing and outstriking Rosholt. As long as Rosholt does not get careless, I think this fight hits the cards, where I think Nelson stands a good chance at taking the nod and getting his hand raised. At +850, I think there is tremendous value in this betting line. Ovince St Preux (-360) vs Rafael ‘Feijao’ Cavalcante (+325) OSP in Round 1 (+105) 1u to win 1.05u I have a hard time seeing this fight playing out any other way than OSP finishing it, and I think it more than likely happens in the first stanza. This is even considering the fact that I thought “Feijao” looked good on the scale at the weigh-ins yesterday. Even if he’s ready for this fight, I don’t think he can take much of OSP’s power for long. I see OSP touching the Brazilian up, connecting and ending the fight. Damian Grabowski (-115) vs Derrick Lewis (+105) Grabowski by Decision (+380) 1u to win 3.8u In short, I think this is the most likely outcome to this heavyweight contest and see value in the +380 betting line. Mickey Gall (-500) vs Mike Jackson (+435) Gall by Submission (-135) 1.35u to win 1u Gall in Round One (-105) 1.05u to win 1u Putting it simply, I think Gall takes Jackson down in the opening frame and makes quick work of him with a submission finish. Artem Lobov (-135) vs Alex White (+125) Lobov by T/KO (+230) 1u to win 2.3u I think Lobov has a good chance of earning his first official UFC victory in this match-up and I favor him to do so by T/KO. At +230, I think it is worth a play. Over the course of 15-minutes of action, I think he will eventually connect with a fight ending, highlight reel finish.
