2012 K-1 World Grand Prix Opening Odds

K-1 WGPFriday’s K-1 World Grand Prix Final will mark nearly 20 years since the first iteration of the one-night tournament. This year’s event will take place in Croatia, which is fitting since the winner of that inaugural tournament was a Croatian by the name of Branko Cikatic. Cikatic remains the only Croatian to win the WGP title, but the hometown fans will be hoping that a second name is added to that list, as legendary kickboxer and MMA competitor Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic is one of the eight men in the bracket. The favorite heading into the event is 2009 runner-up Badr Hari, while the rest of the card features an interesting mix of established K-1 veterans and rising prospects. Today, Nick Kalikas opened the lines for the quarterfinal round of fights at Several Bookmakers. Take a look: ——————– Mirko Filipovic -260 Jarrell Miller +180 Catalin Morosanu -365 Pavel Zhuravlev +255 Badr Hari -1350 Zabit Samedov +650 Hedsy Gerges -365 Ismael Londt +255 ——————–
