Here are my prop plays: Rafael dos Anjos (-190) vs Donald Cerrone (+170) RDA by Decision (+126) 1u to win 1.26u I see this as being the most likely outcome to this lightweight title fight. I think the Brazilian gets the better of “Cowboy” for five rounds of action en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. This is a rematch of a fight RDA won by decision, but in that fight he slowed that in the third round and Cerrone took over. He has since improved his cardio, as was evident in his last outing, and I expect he will have the conditioning to go hard for a full five rounds of action in this his first UFC Lightweight title defense. Alistair Overeem (+235) vs Junior Dos Santos (-275) Overeem by Decision (+520) 1u to win 5.2u JDS in Round Two (+450) .5u to win 2.25u I could see Overeem going in there with a smart Greg Jackson game-plan, following it to a T en route to a victory on the judges’ scorecards. I think there is a decent chance he finishes Dos Santos, but I feel a decision win is more likely. Popular opinion is that JDS by T/KO is the most likely outcome to this heavyweight bout. Should the Brazilian score the T/KO finish, I think it will come in the second round, as I think he will spend the first frame feeling out his opponent and finding his range and timing. Michael Johnson (-470) vs Nate Diaz (+375) Diaz +3.5 (+170) 2u to win 3.4u I think there’s a good chance Diaz wins at least one round of this fight. He looks to be in good shape, so if he’s on top of his game when the Octagon door closes, I think his boxing and four inch reach advantage could give Johnson some trouble, as could his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Josh Samman (-175) vs Tamdan McCrory (+165) Samman by Decision (+326) 1u to win 3.26u Putting it simply, I think this is the most likely outcome to this 185-pound match-up and see value in it for a wager at it’s current offering tag of +326. Francis Ngannou (-115) vs Luiz Henrique (-105) Ngannou in Round One (+225) 1u to win 2.25u It’s hard for me to see this fight playing out any way other than Ngannou getting an early finish. I see him scoring a highlight-reel finish here in his UFC debut against fellow Octagon newcomer Henrique, who I think has only been signed by the promotion to feed Ngannou his first win in the big show.
