MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with TUF 22 Finale’s Joby Sanchez as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card bout on Friday night (December 11, 2015) against Geane Herrera at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Editor’s note: at the time of the recording of this interview, Sanchez still thought he was competing against Justin Scoggins, who later withdrew from the bout due to injury)
The Jackson-Winkeljohn-trained fighter is not afraid to get into a brawl with anyone and he feels his power can be the great equalizer against most opponents:
“I put out [Antonio] Banuelos before I fought in the UFC at Tachi and I have a lot of confidence in my power. I really do believe that when I hit people, they go down and they stay down. [Tateki] Matsuda proved that differently (laughs).”
