MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with TUF 22 Finale’s Mike Pierce as he prepares for his upcoming bout on Friday night (December 11, 2015) against Ryan LaFlare at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The longtime veteran is making his first appearance inside the Octagon in over two years since suffering a knee injury at the hands of Rousimar Palhares, and he’s planning on taking out his frustration on LaFlare in a big way:
“I think [Ryan LaFlare]’s one of those guys with a record that looks good on paper but it doesn’t necessarily translate that he’s had a bunch of tough guys to compete against yet. I think his only legitimately tough fight he’s had was against Demian Maia and that was his last fight…It was more a survival fight than anything and he didn’t get anything going… I plan on being aggressive and I want to look for those finishes whether it’s a submission or a knockout. I happen to think he’s got a suspect chin.”
