GLORY 26 Opening Betting Odds

glory26_heroKickboxing promotion GLORY returns this Friday for what has now become a monthly event. Glory 26 features two title bouts (heavyweight and welterweight), as well as a four-man tournament to determine the number one contender in the featherweight division, where the winner will eventually face champion Sergey Adamchuk, who was crowned this past November. The heavyweight title bout features champion Rico Verhoeven against challenger Benjamin Adegbuyi. Adegbuyi earned his shot at the gold by winning a one-night four-man tournament this past October, earning a leg kick TKO against Mladen Brestovac before earning a decision victory over Jahfarr Wilnis. Verhoeven is the deserved heavy favorite, having gone 8-1 in his last nine bouts while defeating notable names like Daniel Ghita (2x), Peter Aerts and Gokhan Saki. The welterweight title bout features champion Nieky Holzken against challenger Murthel Groenhart. Holzken captured the vacant title this past August while Groenhart won a one-night tournament last month to earn his title shot. The featherweight tournament will feature Maykol Yurk, Shane Oblonsky, Lim Chi-bin and Mosab Amrani in a number one contender semifinal. Oddsmaker Nick Kalikas opened the betting lines for GLORY 26 today at Several Bookmakers. The Spike TV portion of the card begins at 8pm ET, while the PPV starts at 10pm ET. ——————– Glory Kickboxing December 4, 2015 Amsterdam RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands Heavyweight Championship Benjamin Adegbuyi +335 Rico Verhoeven -505 Welterweight Championship Murthel Groenhart +400 Nieky Holzken -600 Featherweight Contender Tournament Semi Final Lim Chi-bin +280 Mosab Amrani -400 Featherweight Contender Tournament Semi Final Maykol Yurk +335 Shane Oblonsky -505 Superfight Series Light Heavyweight Mourad Bouzidi -110 Danyo Illunga -130 Heavyweight Thomas Vanneste +700 Errol Zimmerman -1500 Light Heavyweight Zinedine Hameur-Lain +115 Fred Sikking -155 Welterweight Yoann Kongolo +190 Karapet Karapetyan -270 ——————– Click below to bet the fights now!
