De La Hoya is the 21-year old cousin of Oscar De la Hoya, and he has built up a (12-0) professional record. This fight is for the WBC Youth World Super Bantamweight belt, and the opponent Delgado brings a (15-3) mark to the bout. De LA Hoya is a massive (-9950) favorite heading into the fight, and Delgado is returning at (+2850). There is no over/under, and the bout is scheduled for eight rounds. The GBP promotion has six fights in all, and the main bouts are scheduled to air on the Spanish Language Estrella TV in the United States. The main event 10 round bout that is featured is a showcase for prospect Horacio Garcia (29-1) as he faces Raul Hidalgo (24-13). The card also sees a handful of undefeated prospects as featherweight John Karl Sosa (13-0) faces Alan Sanchez (16-3-1), Super Bantamweight Roy Tapia (11-0-2) takes on Erik Ruiz (14-4). Heading over to the Waterfront Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland, veteran Barry McGuigan has his promoter’s hat on as he presents a six-fight event headlined by Conrad Cummings (7-0) facing Alfredo Meli (11-0) for the vacant BBBofC Celtic Middleweight title. Cummings is coming in as the (-750) favorite, with Meli coming back at (+450). The ten round bout has no over/under posted, and the undercard has undefeated fighter Paul Hyland Jr (8-0) facing Virgile Degonzaga (11-10-2).
