Five Crazy Props that Cashed Big for UFC 193

kyle noke“5 Crazy Prop Bets That Cashed Big” is a column on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here’s five crazy UFC 193 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers.   1) Kyle Noke wins by TKO/ Noke wins in round 1 +1475 Noke scored his first knockout win in over three years last night when he stopped Peter Sobotta with a vicious body kick in the very first round. A lot of people, including myself, bet on Sobotta to get the win here so congrats to those who did not believe in Sobotta and went with the hometown Aussie veteran instead.   2) Daniel Kelly wins by decision +1080 This was a typical Daniel Kelly fight, only this time he was fighting a guy that was equally bad in Steve Montgomery. They each landed shots on the feet, but Kelly managed to secure a few submission attempts and some positional control on the canvas after utilizing his judo to take the fight to the ground that took home a decision win.   3) Ben Nguyen wins by submission +885 Nguyen looks to be a bright prospect among the UFC’s flyweight division, which is vastly in need of fresh contenders for champion Demetrious Johnson. Nguyen had his way with Ryan Benoit from the start, as he began the bout by lighting up and ultimately dropping Benoit to the mat. From there he secured a dominant back control before eventually latching on a rear-naked choke, which was only the 27 year old’s fourth submission of his career. Watch out for him in the future.   4) Holly Holm wins by TKO +695 Holly Holm absolutely shocked the world when she knocked out longtime champion Ronda Rousey with a brutal head kick early in the second round. Most people either put Rousey in a parlay or played one of her props. Those that did take the +1200 odds on Holm straight up on Friday morning (before the lines shifted heavily) certainly had one hell of a night. Congrats to the new champ!   5)  Joanna Jedrzejczyk wins by decision +323 Most fans and observers were shocked that Valerie Letourneau was able take all the punishment that the champion dished out over five rounds. The Canadian should be applauded for her toughness but it just was not enough to unseat the champion, congrats if you took a shot at Jedrzejczyk winning by decision, considering most everyone expected the hefty favorite to finish this fight.
