WSOF 24 Date: October 17, 2015 Arena: Foxwoods Resort Casino City: Mashantucket, CT The World Series of Fighting (WSOF) returns with WSOF 24: Fitch vs Okami tonight, October 17th, 2015. The event will feature 12 bouts in entirety, including a seven fight preliminary card to stream live on the promotion’s website at 7pm ET and a five fight main card to get going on the NBC Sports Network at 9pm ET. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are my prop plays for WSOF 24: Jon Fitch (+140) vs Yushin Okami (-150) Fight Goes to Decision (-260) 1.3u to win .5u Neither of these guys are great at finishing fights and are known to be “decision” fighters. Unless the weight cut has taken a major toll on Okami, I think there’s a good chance this fight goes all three rounds to a judges’ decision, where I lean towards the Japanese veteran but it could be anybody’s fight. Matt Hamill (+318) vs Vinny Magalhaes (-350) Hamill ITD (+791) .5u to win 3.95u This is simply a value play, as Magalhaes has a very poor chin and could very well get his lights put out in this contest. Hamill is by no means a knockout artist, but when you’re facing this Brazilian, you don’t need to be. Nick Newell (-525) vs Tom Marcellino (+450) Newell by Decision (+260) 1u to win 2.6u I think Newell winning this fight on the judges’ scorecards is the most likely outcome, so getting that prop at +260 is a gift, considering he is -525 straight up on the money-line. Donovan Frelow (+700) vs Magomed Bibulatov (-1100) Bibulatov ITD (-155) 1.55u to win 1u Another gift value play here, as Bibulatov is -1100 and getting by to win inside the distance is only -155. I think that is the most likely outcome to this 125-pound title fight, especially over the course of five rounds, so I like it for a wager.
