While Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) isn’t holding any events this weekend, there are still plenty of huge fights taking place in the next few months. UFC Fight Night 77 will occur on November 7th, and features the trilogy fight between Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort. While the main and co-main events already have odds released, a pivotal bantamweight match-up between Anthony Birchak and rising star Thomas Almeida is not one to be ignored. UFC 193 will take place in mid November in Australia and is headlined by a pair of women’s title bouts as both Ronda Rousey and Joanna Jedredczyk. The odds have already been released for the title fights, but some main card fights and a few key prelims are not yet available. Uriah Hall, fresh off his surprise knockout of Gegard Mousasi, has stepped in on short notice for the injured Michael Bisping to take on Robert Whittaker. Also, an intriguing heavyweight battle is set to go down between Stefan Struve and Jared Rosholt. On the preliminary card, popular Aussies Jake Matthews, Kyle Noke and Anthony Perosh look to defend their home turf. Last but not least, this upcoming December for UFC Fight Night 80, a UFC event will be headlined by a women’s non-title fight for the first time as popular top 10 fighters Paige VanZant and Joanne Calderwood throw down in the first of three straight back-to-back-to-back events. The winner of this contest will likely have a say in the title picture by mid to late 2016, getting in line after current top contender Claudia Gadelha.
