Gabe Killian’s Plays for Week 5 of the NFL

nflStarting this week, Week 5 in the 2015-16 NFL season, I will be sharing my plays for the games. I did not start earlier, because I did not have plays I liked. This is the first week this season where I will be wagering on more than just one game. As the season is progressing, I am spotting more plays. Thus far, I’ve seen value in only two wagers, and they were both on the NY Jets (they won both games.) First, in Week 2 against the Colts at +240, then last week (week 4) against the Dolphins on the Spread at -1.5 (-110). That said, for this article, I will officially start keeping track of my plays starting this week, and those two plays from previous weeks will not reflect my track record. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any plays for Week 5 of the NFL, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. And without further ado, here are my plays for NFL Week 5… EARLY GAME Bengals (-160) > Seahawks I was originally eyeing a play on the traveling Seahawks at the underdog price of +140, but the more I’ve looked into the match-up, the more I’ve begun to favor the hometown Bengals. Both teams are coming off wins and should be riding high into this one, but I think Cincinatti rides higher. I see Andy Dalton and AJ Green connecting for three or four touchdowns and the defense stepping up to keep it from being too close. This looks to me like a road game where Seattle slips up and takes a loss, ultimately falling to a losing record of 2-3, while Cincinatti remains undefeated this season at 5-0. It is also worth noting that the Seahawks may be without Marshaw Lynch this Sunday, as he is a game-time decision due to his calf and hamstring injuries. 2.4u to win 1.5u DAY GAME Cardinals (-145) > Lions I think this is going to be a high scoring game and one that likely Over 44 points, and I think taking the Over would be a decent play, too, however I favor a straight play on the Cardinals more. Both teams have serious offensive weapons but the Cardinals have found a way to put it together better. Recent history shows that the Cardinals dominate the Lions when they play, and the writing on the wall says that the same thing is going to happen this Sunday. I think the Cardinals continue to rise and show that they are a threat to win the division, while the Lions continue to slide further down to 0-5. 2.9u to win 2u MONDAY NIGHT GAME Chargers (-170) > Steelers I like San Diego at home this weekend. Rivers has been sacked 12 times thus far this season and will likely take a couple more hits in this game, but I think he will do enough offensively to put them ahead of Pittsburgh. Even if the Chargers fall behind in the first half, I think they will come back strong in the second and take the game. They have Antonio Gates back in this game and I think that is going to make a difference, both on the scoreboard and mentally for the team. I see Rivers connecting with Gates and rookie Keenan Allen for several touchdowns in this match-up. Whether they take the lead from the start or fall behind, I see the Chargers coming on top at the end of this one, and ultimately rising to a winning record of 3-2, while the Steelers fall to a losing record of 2-3. 2.55u to win 1.5u PARLAYS Falcons (-325) and Giants (-280) at -130 for 1.95u to win 1.5u Falcons (-325), Giants (-280), Bengals (-160), Cardinals (-145) and Chargers (-170) at +673 for .35u to win 2.35u ATL (vs WSH) and NYG (vs SF) have favorable match-ups with home-field advantages heading into Sunday and I don’t see either team having much trouble coming out with the win.
